A finalist for the Non-profit Award, Rubén leads Humanos3D, which deploys mobile clinics to rural communities, co-creating personalized prosthetic devices with people with disabilities. Using 3D printing and participatory design, it delivers functional, affordable, and context-specific solutions that restore dignity and autonomy—over 400 devices so far, including one enabling a beneficiary to return to table tennis and represent Colombia internationally.
